2019 AEO International Congress: “AEO in global supply chains: Agility, Security, Integrity” is the key annual event of the International Association of Authorised Economic Operators (AEO). It will be held from 26-28 June 2019 in Barcelona, within SIL2019.
The purpose of the 2019 International Congress is to support all actors interested in the AEO standard, the International Association of AEO’s member organizations and their company affiliates to engage with thought leaders on the AEO role in trade performance, e-commerce, security and integrity, and to promote the implementation of best practice.
The Congress presentations address 3 themes:
- Faster customs clearance of cargo, leading to quicker delivery times and cost reduction
- Security in global trade, including e-commerce
- Links between the trade facilitation policy environment and integrity
